Sime Darby Property Berhad ("Sime Property") wishes to announce that Wisma Sime Darby Sdn Berhad ("WSD"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sime Property, which was placed under Members' Voluntary Liquidation on 15 July 2019 and held its final meeting on 30 September 2020, was dissolved on 5 January 2021, i.e. after the expiration of three (3) months from the date of lodgement of the Return by Liquidator relating to the Final Meeting with the Companies Commission of Malaysia and with the Official Receiver.

The dissolution of WSD will not have a material effect on the earnings or net assets of the Sime Property Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2021.

None of the directors or major shareholders of Sime Property or persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the said dissolution.
