Sime Darby Property Berhad ("Sime Darby Property") wishes to announce that Sime Darby Properties Builders Sdn Bhd ("SDP Builders"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sime Darby Property has, on 24 December 2019, held its Meeting of Member, at which it was resolved that SDP Builders be wound-up voluntarily and that Ms. Chua Siew Chuan and Ms. Tan Ley Theng be appointed as Liquidators of SDP Builders.

The previous principal activity of  SDP Builders was General Construction. SDP Builders has ceased its business operation and is currently dormant.

The voluntary liquidation of SDP Builders will not have a material effect on the earnings and net assets of Sime Darby Property Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2019. None of the directors or major shareholders of Sime Darby Property or persons connected to them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the said voluntary liquidation.
