Sime Darby Property Berhad (“Sime Darby Property”) wishes to announce that Golden Hope Staff Bungalows Sdn Bhd (“GHSB”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sime Darby Property, which was placed under Members’ Voluntary Liquidation on 17 June 2010 and held its final meeting on 13 June 2019, was dissolved on 17 September 2019, i.e. after the expiration of three months from the date of lodgement of the Return by Liquidator relating to the Final Meeting with the Companies Commission of Malaysia and with the Official Receiver.

The dissolution of GHSB will not have a material effect on the earnings or net assets of the Sime Darby Property Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2019.

None of the directors or major shareholders of Sime Darby Property or persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the said dissolution.
