Sime Darby Property Berhad (“Sime Darby Property”) wishes to announce that pursuant to an application for deregistration of Sime Darby Hotels Pty Ltd (“SD Hotels”), an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Sime Darby Property, made with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (“ASIC”) on 13 May 2019, SD Hotels has been deregistered on 17 July 2019.

The Company Summary on the deregistration of SD Hotels was published by the ASIC and extracted from ASIC's database on 18 July 2019.

The deregistration of SD Hotels will not have a material effect on the earnings or net assets of the Sime Darby Property Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2019.

None of the directors or major shareholders of Sime Darby Property or persons connected to them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the said deregistration.
