We refer to our announcement dated 24 December 2019 on the above matter.

Sime Darby Properties Builders Sdn Bhd ("SDP Builders"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sime Darby Property Berhad, which has been placed under Members' Voluntary Liquidation on 24 December 2019, has held its Final Meeting on 13 May 2022.

The voluntary liquidation of SDP Builders will not have a material effect on the earnings or net assets of the Sime Darby Property Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2022.

None of the directors or major shareholders of Sime Darby Property or persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the said voluntary liquidation.

SDP Builders will be deemed to be dissolved on 19 August 2022, upon the expiration of three (3) months from the date of lodgement of the relevant statutory returns with the Companies Commission of Malaysia and with the Official Receiver.
